Spellweavers use the rulebook's rules unchanged. A Shek-Pvar convocation is a house within the order and changes no numbers. An Origin roll skips three events that need noble birth and, for a Slave or Serf, five that need a free family. When an Origin event implies a different parentage, you choose whether to change it or explain both. Each sunsign gives +10 to one skill and +5 to two more. Divinity belongs to no sign, since piety comes from the gods and not the stars. For a Spellweaver the sign also gives an Affinity (+1 Mastery when casting with that Strand) and an Impedance (+1 TC), drawn from six Strands: Plants, Earth, Fire, Air, Thought and Water. Beasts, Body, Spheres and Spirit belong to no sign. Someone born on a cusp takes the Affinity and Impedance of the sign they chose. Tribal tongues are named for the nation: ten are Jarin dialects, six are Hârnic dialects, the Kamaki speak Kamakin and the Solori an Azeri tongue. A dialect speaker understands the parent language at 20 less. A family whose tongue is a dialect of the language you were raised in costs nothing in language; only the two -wises split. Gargun is offered as a second language to the Ymodi, Pagaelin, Tulwyn, Equani and Kabloqui.
